Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Monty - 28/12/07 - R.I.P.

Monty came to me from Bill Marles of Buildon Bull Terriers. His mother was Willet Bravespirt at Khlolander. Sadly Monty died on Friday 28th December 2007. It is unknown what he died from, he just sarted to cough up bloody and in a very short space of time he died. Monty was a lovely loving boy who we called Kissy Lips, he loved his cuddles and wanted to be with you all the time. We I first got him I had to take him into work with me. The only place he could stay was the toilet in reception. Any one who used it came away with a new friend. He was such a good boy and everybody loved him. I miss him so much he was such a good puppy and was happy to be with you.

Rossi - 16/03/06 - R.I.P

Hallgarth Devils Advocate with Khlolander (Rossi)  was sadly put to sleep on Thursday 16th March 2006. He will be deepy missed by his owners Carol and Richard Gillet and us here at Khlolander.

Annie - A Welfare Girl - R.I.P

This is Annie she was brought into welfare after the people who had her had been using her for Badger Baiting. The poor little girl was torn to bits where the badgers had kicked and scratch to get away. If that’s not bad enough, the people that owned her got her into whelp and when she had her pups they burnt them in front of her. Annie was taken in by The Bull Terrier Welfare and lived her last few months with Janet and David Furneaux getting lots of cuddles, kisses and tip bits. Saddly Annie died of cancer before she could be rehomed with a loving family
